Dr. brandon furr
pastor

Brandon is a native of Augusta, Georgia and came to know the Lord as his Savior as a teenager.  After graduating from Westside High School in Augusta, he attended Georgia College and State University (BS Psychology), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv) and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (DMin).  He served the Lord for twelve years as the associate pastor/college minister at Northside Baptist Church in Milledgeville, Georgia prior to following God's calling to come to First Baptist.  Brandon is married to his wife Emily.  They have two children: Bethany (age 18) & Caleb (age 15).

Minister to Students

Cyndi is originally from Ponotoc, Mississippi and received her BA in Psychology at Mississippi College.  She also received a Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling and a Masters of Arts in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Prior to moving to Warrenton, Cyndi spent 8 years working on the campuses of Georgia Tech and Emory University as the Baptist Collegiate Ministries (BCM) Campus Minister.  She loves drinking coffee and hanging out with her dog, Pippen.  She came to First Baptist in January 2016.
